Alex Delmar / DJ

Alex Delmar is a House and Techno DJ from Montreal who has been active since 2007.

During his first 7 years he held a few residencies in Downtown Montreal (Twins, Istori Bar,
L’Ambroisie). In 2014, he completed the Audio Production program at the specialized school
Musitechnic. As professional practice he recorded and mastered DJ sets at Piknic Electronic
and Igloofest as well as co-producing Deep House tracks under FeelGood Productions.

He headlined multiple electronic music events at a variety of venues in Guatemala and Costa
Rica between 2015 and 2019, and held several residencies (Rustic Bar, Maya Lounge,
Tropicana Hostel – Sunset Sessions, 1001 Noches).

In 2018 he became a founding member of Underground Kollektiv, an international collective
of producers and DJs based in the UK. They run a record label and a 24-hr online station as
well as live events.

2022 was a great year, as he got back to performing live in Ottawa with Ottawa Prog Vibes at
City At Night, co-hosted the first UDGK event in Montreal at Blue Dog Bar and performed at
the Amsterdam Dance Event for the collective’s own night at Oosterbar presenting Mark
Broom and Robert Babicz as headliners.

To continue his journey in 2023 he was back in Ottawa with OPV at Berlin / 56 Byward and
also performed in Ibiza for Ibiza PlayAbout at Jet Apartments and Rio Ibiza. He will be back
in Ibiza in May 2024. He is also initiating a series of bi-monthly live studio sessions
presenting local and regional DJs in Montreal.
